Applications are open for AGRA Agri SME Enterprise Support Program 2026. AGRA, in collaboration with IACL, has launched a call for applications targeting youth and women led agribusinesses in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda and Tanzania. The Agri SME Enterprise Support Program seeks to identify and support 100 enterprises, comprising 20 enterprises from each participating country.The program is designed for commercially active agribusinesses with the potential to strengthen their operations, expand their markets, improve supply chains and create more inclusive economic opportunities for young people and women.
AGRA Agri SME Enterprise Support Program Benefits
Selected enterprises will undergo a structured diagnostic covering their business model, financial management, production and aggregation capacity, supplier systems, quality management, certification readiness, market access, employment, inclusion, digital systems and growth potential.
Based on the diagnostic findings, each enterprise will receive tailored business development support that may include:
- Business and financial management support
- Supply chain and supplier system strengthening
- Quality, food safety and traceability support
- Certification and regulatory readiness planning
- Market positioning and buyer preparation
- Coaching, technical assistance and specialist referrals
- Investor readiness and financial linkages
- Development of a practical 12 to 18 month growth and job creation plan
Eligibility Criteria
The programme is open to commercially active agribusinesses that:
- Are youth-led or women-led
- Operate in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda or Tanzania
- Work within the agriculture or agri-food sector
- Demonstrate credible potential for business growth and market expansion
- Have the potential to create jobs
- Work with, source from, or provide services within agricultural value chains
- Work with farmers and other agricultural value-chain actors, including smallholder producers
- Are willing to participate in enterprise diagnostics, coaching, site visits and other business development activities
- Have not previously benefited from YEFFA investment.
