Applications are open for ProMoat Capital Drawbridge Grant 2026. They are offering Nigerian businesses the opportunity to receive up to ₦1 million in non-repayable funding to support business growth.  ProMoat Capital is giving two grants this January: ₦1,000,000 and ₦500,000. You don’t pay it back, and we don’t take any part of your company. If you run a registered Nigerian business with paying customers, you can apply.

ProMoat Capital invests in small and medium businesses in Nigeria. To invest well, they need to meet good businesses early — and the best ones are usually busy working, not looking for investors.

This grant is how they meet them. Every application is read by their investment team. Two businesses get the grant, and if they like what you’re building, they may also talk to you about investment. That conversation is always your choice, and it’s separate from the grant.

    ProMoat Capital Drawbridge Grant Details

    • Two grants. Nothing to pay back.
    • This January, two Nigerian businesses will each receive a grant. It is not a loan and not an investment — the money is yours to grow the business with.
    • First place: One business
      • ₦1,000,000
    • Second place: One business
      • ₦500,000
    • How you can use it: anything that grows the business — stock, equipment, tools, marketing, staff. The application asks how you plan to use it.

    Eligibility Criteria

    The requirements are simple.

    • Your business makes money
      • You have paying customers. It doesn’t have to be a lot — but it has to be real.
    • Your business is registered
      • You’re registered with the CAC, as a business name or a company.
    • You have a business bank account
      • Not compulsory, but it counts in your favour — and it’s where the money would go.
    • You operate in Nigeria
      • Any sector. Shops, farms, factories, services, software — all welcome.
    • One more thing:
      • when you submit your application, you’ll create a free account on our platform for small businesses. That’s where you’ll follow the progress of your application. It costs nothing, and there are no other terms — no equity, no repayment.

    Application Process and Timeline

    • Apply: Now → October 31, 2026
      • One form. It takes about 20 minutes. You don’t need a pitch deck or a business plan document.
    • Review and first interviews: November
      • We read every application and call the businesses on our shortlist. It’s a normal conversation about your business, on a phone or video call.
    • Final interviews: December
      • A longer conversation with the finalists — about your customers, your numbers, and your plan for the money.
    • Winners announced, money paid: January 2027
      • Both grants are paid out the same month — ₦1,000,000 and ₦500,000.
