Documentary Africa (DocA) has a history of supporting African filmmakers across various stages of their projects. With the launch of the Shoot Your Short, we are excited to start on our venture into supporting short-form documentary content.

    Eligibility Criteria for “Shoot Your Short” Short Film Grants:

    To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Be African producers of African nationality residing on the continent.
    • Have completed at least one previous film.
    • Commit to completing the short film within a year from receiving the grant.
    • Ensure the film is less than 20 minutes in duration.
