Applications are open for FHSA Young Female Food Professional (YFP) Program. The YFP is a flagship youth employment and gender initiative of Food Health Systems Advisory (FHSA) under the Advancing Nutrition Through Female-Led Processing (ANTFem) program.
The YFP identifies outstanding recent female graduates in food science across Nigeria and provides them with opportunities to grow professionally. We aim to attract, develop, and retain female professionals by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to become future leaders in Africa’s growing food processing sector.
Food Health Systems Advisory (FHSA) is a leading management consulting and business advisory firm on a mission to solve Africa’s most pressing food systems challenges through consulting, technical services, and research in partnership with private-sector, governments and development partners. We provide technical services (process engineering, product development, quality control, business strategy, etc) to food enterprises, enabling them to deliver safe, nutritious, affordable, and sustainable food.
Young Female Food Professional (YFP) Program Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
- Are a recent female graduate in Food Science and Technology.
- Have 0-2 years post-graduate work experience.
- Have completed mandatory NYSC program.
- Have access to a laptop and reliable internet.
- Reside in an ANTFem program state (Anambra, Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, or Kaduna).
- Are available to work full-time for 12 months.
