Applications are open for Digital Africa AgTech Startup Challenge 2025. The Digital Africa initiative was born of French President Emmanuel Macron’s desire to support the entrepreneurial dynamic and the development of innovative entrepreneurship in Africa. Digital Africa is a collaborative and open initiative at the service of African entrepreneurs.

Digital Africa, hereinafter referred to as Digital Africa, is implementing a FUZE program designed to support entrepreneurs in Africa who are active in the digital sector and particularly in certain priority sectors. The FUZE program aims to provide funding for the early stages of a project (ideation and seed phase).

The Digital Africa digital platform, hereinafter the “Platform”, will enable start-ups to access information on the FUZE program and the selection procedure, and to submit their applications online.

The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of Use (GTCU) is to set the conditions for granting funding and labeling partners of the FUZE Program to the User, on the one hand, and to define the rights and obligations of Digital Africa and the User, on the other. These General Conditions of Use (GCU) constitute a contract between Digital Africa and the User whose data collection is not optional but remains limited in time (defined in the “Database” section).

Digital Africa AgTech Startup Challenge Object

Digital Africa launches FUZE, a 6.5 M Eur pilot investment scheme, divided into small tickets, to support startups at the ideation and MVP stages in Arica. Aimed at startups operating in underserved ecosystems in Africa, the aim is to offer tickets of up to 100KE to enable teams offering technological solutions serving the real economy to kick-start their business and focus on their development efforts. The purpose of these general terms and conditions of use is to specify the conditions for the selection of start-ups that will benefit from FUZE Program funding, including the digitalized application process, as well as that of the supporting structures.
