Applications are open for Canva Africa Design Challenge 2025. Canva Africa Design Challenge is an opportunity for young African creatives to design practical, high-impact templates tailored to the needs of local businesses. From WhatsApp product menus to email templates, business cards, brand kits, social video layouts, creator rate cards, and even link-in-bio designs, this challenge invites you to create templates made for Africa, by Africa.

Canva Africa Design Challenge Benefits

• A share of the US$10,000 prize pool.
• 1:1 mentorship sessions with Canva designers.

Additional Winner Rewards

• A three-month Canva Pro subscription for each winner.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Design your template: Create a Canva design that supports African entrepreneurs – like WhatsApp price lists, invoices, or social media posts.
2. Submit your entry: Upload your entry via the official entry form.
3. Tell your story: Add a short artist statement (max 150 words) about who it’s for and how it helps.
