Applications are open for Startup Innovation Challenge 2026. Startup Innovation Challenge is a high-impact opportunity for startups, SMEs, and innovators across Nigeria to access funding, mentorship, and business support. The program is organized by Startup Abuja, a social enterprise focused on empowering entrepreneurs and building Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem.

The Startup Innovation Challenge is a national innovation competition designed to help founders:

Validate and scale their ideas
Access funding and cloud resources
Build investor-ready businesses

It is structured as a hackathon + growth program, combining innovation, mentorship, and real funding opportunities. The initiative targets tech-enabled solutions and scalable business models across multiple industries.

Nigerian or any other Africans
Non-Africans building for the African market
Your solution is tech-enabled
You have at least a working prototype/MVP for your solution (with a functional website)
