Applications are open for .ORG Global Impact Awards 2026. The .ORG Impact Awards is a global recognition program hosted by Public Interest Registry that honors organizations and individuals using .ORG domains to drive meaningful social change. It provides financial awards of up to USD 50,000, global visibility, and networking opportunities to mission-driven organizations working in communities worldwide.

The .ORG Impact Awards recognize and support organizations that use a .ORG domain to create meaningful and measurable social impact. The program is designed to celebrate excellence, amplify visibility, and strengthen the global community of mission-driven organizations.

It is hosted by Public Interest Registry and has recognized more than 300 organizations across over 120 countries, supporting a wide range of social impact initiatives.

.ORG Global Impact Awards Benefits

Since its inception in 2019, the .ORG Impact Awards has recognized more than 300 outstanding organizations from over 120 different countries, and awarded more than $865,000 in donations to support their great work.

Cash Donation
- Selected individuals and organizations are eligible to receive up to a $50,000 USD donation to the non-profit of their choice, including our outstanding finalists and winners.
Prestigious Awards
- Display your custom .ORG Impact Award to let the world know that your organization is achieving amazing results and making a difference. Finalists will be invited to attend our in-person gala in Washington DC (including travel and accommodations)
Build Community
- Join a global community of mission-driven organizations making a difference. Build new connections, strengthen support for your mission, and access additional opportunities for learning, capacity building, and visibility alongside other purpose-driven organizations.
Raise Awareness
- Finalists and winners will be featured across a variety of .ORG platforms throughout the year, including videos, articles, social posts, and more. We’ve expanded our programs to focus more attention on finalists and winners than ever before.

Prizes

All Finalists receive:
- Complimentary travel to attend the awards event (for two attendees)
- Recognition as a .ORG Impact Awards finalist
- A charitable donation of $2,500
- Global recognition across .ORG platforms, including featured promotion through video and social channel
Winners receive:
- A custom .ORG Impact Award
- A charitable donation of $10,000 USD
- Global recognition and opportunities to elevate their mission
ORG of the Year receives:
- A custom .ORG Impact Award
- A charitable donation of $40,000 USD
- Elevated visibility and recognition through expanded promotion and storytelling opportunities

Eligibility Criteria

The .ORG Impact Awards are open to organizations using a .ORG domain.
Individuals are eligible to apply in the Rising Star category, which highlights young leaders making a difference in their communities.
Applicants must be 18 years or older to submit a nomination.
Employees of Public Interest Registry and affiliated entities, along with their immediate family members, are not eligible.
