Applications are open for DocuSign Foundation Agreements for Good Program 2026. Agreements for Good is a core program of the Docusign Foundation, through which they fund collaboration itself. They support the trust-building, alignment, and shared accountability that allow bold ideas to grow strong and last.

This initiative supports non-profits and collaborative partnerships leveraging digital solutions to drive environmental sustainability and social impact, particularly in areas shaping the future of work and responsible data use.

Through their grants, they provide both one-time funding to launch new partnerships and multi-year support to help established collaborations endure. Their focus is not only on what gets done, but on how people come together to make it happen.

Their mission is simple: to invest in the power of agreements that bring people together, build trust, and create lasting change.

DocuSign Foundation Agreements for Good Program Focus Areas

They invest in three enduring priority areas where a foundation of trust is critical for success.

    • Environment & Sustainability
      • Investing in agreements that help people and nature flourish together on a healthier, more resilient planet.
    • Data Privacy & Security
      • Supporting agreements that secure digital lives, protect privacy, and build trust in the age of AI.
    • Future of Work
      • Advancing agreements that ensure every person can thrive in a changing economy with stability, opportunity, and dignity.

    Grant Details

    • Grants range from $20,000–$100,000 for one-time projects to $100,000–$200,000 per year for up to two years for multi-year collaborations.
    • If your collaboration is aligned, you’ll receive an invitation to apply for funding in the next stage. If not, they hope this process still affirms the importance of your work, and they encourage you to stay connected with them as they continue to share.

    What They Fund?

    • Collaborations and partnerships that are advancing agreements in our three priority areas: (1) Environment & Sustainability, (2) Data Privacy & Security, and (3) Future of Work.
    • Work that develops collaborative infrastructure, governance models, or enforceable agreements.
    • Activities that build the foundation for durable collaboration, such as convening, facilitation, agreement design, prototype partnerships, and backbone coordination.

Eligibility Criteria for DocuSign Foundation Agreements for Good Program

    • They fund multi-organizational collaborations and partnerships.
    • One-time grants require at least two organizations working together.
    • Multi-year grants require at least three organizations in formal collaboration.
    • We especially encourage cross-sector collaborations — for example, a nonprofit, a business, and a public agency working together toward shared outcomes.
    • The lead organization receiving the funds must be an eligible entity, such as 501(c)(3) organizations or global equivalent (e.g., registered nonprofits, charities, NGOs, etc), and fiscally sponsored projects. Applicants may include state, tribal, or local government entities serving as the backbone organization of the collaboration.
