Applications are open for GLFx Chapters Program 2027. The GLFx Chapters Program is an initiative by the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) designed to strengthen grassroots environmental action. It connects community-based organizations working on sustainable land use, ecosystem restoration, and landscape transformation through a global network of locally-led initiatives.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) invites locally-led organizations rooted in their landscapes to join the GLFx network by establishing a new chapter or joining an existing one. Eligible organizations are registered or locally accredited and based in Africa, Asia-Pacific or Latin America and the Caribbean. Selected organizations will gain access to funding, partnerships, learning opportunities and a global network to advance collaborative restoration and conservation efforts for inclusive and sustainable landscapes.

    What is GLFx?

GLFx is an opportunity-making network for local, community-oriented organizations and grassroots initiatives, that are transforming landscapes from the ground up, forging inclusive partnerships and advocating for policy change. These locally-led organizations, once part of this network, are also referred to as GLFx chapters.

From leading public dialogues, to championing agroforestry, soil restoration, sustainable livelihoods, biodiversity recovery, ecopreneurships, reforestation campaigns, and more environmental solutions, GLFx chapters are at the forefront of change in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Through the GLFx network, chapters leverage opportunities and partnerships for networking, learning, capacity development and media spotlighting in regional and global events. They also access seed funding for sustainable and inclusive landscape management.

    GLFx Chapters Program Benefits

Selected organizations will become a part of the GLFx network and access a tailored support package across various target areas.
