StartPoint, an initiative of the African Philanthropy Forum, is dedicated to connecting Africa’s development sector by linking donors with credible, African-led organizations like yours.
This year, we are proud to offer five unrestricted grants of $5,000 each to organizations that are making a meaningful difference in Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa and Tanzania.
Why Apply for StartPoint Grant?

- Through StartPoint, APF is giving a $25,000 grant to fuel your mission and amplify your impact. Five organizations will each receive $5,000 in unrestricted funding to support their commitment to positive change and community development.
Eligibility Criteria
- We invite applications from local organizations working in Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa and Tanzania. Whether you’re a growing NGO or a community-based organization, this is your chance to access the support you need to continue your important work. All you need is to be registered on StartPoint; creating a profile is quick and easy, taking just 10 minutes.
