This initiative, led by the U.S. Government’s Prosper Africa initiative in partnership with USAID and the eTrade Alliance, seeks to collaborate with organizations that can drive impactful digital solutions to enhance trade and commerce across Africa.
Prosper Africa Tech for Trade Alliance Objectives
The Call for Applications invites Alliance partners and other interested organizations to submit proposals that support one or more of the following objectives:
- Promoting U.S. Technology Adoption – Implementing technology solutions that reduce trade costs and enhance trade efficiency for African businesses.
- Raising Awareness of U.S. Technology Solutions – Engaging African firms and government agencies in understanding the impact of digital solutions on productivity and trade facilitation.
- Improving Digital and Trade Policies – Partnering to advance digital policies, including the implementation of the AfCFTA Digital Protocol, to foster cross-border trade.
- Building Evidence through Data Collection – Supporting data-driven approaches to identify challenges and enable sustainable trade solutions across Africa.
