The Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program {WDEP} is a business growth initiative designed to equip WOMEN with digital skills, information and resources needed to START, GROW and MONETIZE a business. The program is targeted towards existing and aspiring female entrepreneurs interested in learning and opportunities to grow an online business.

The Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program {WDEP} is an initiative of Access , with implementation from Nerdzfactory Foundation aimed at equipping business women with the skills for the digitization of their business processes and to further position their businesses for long-term market relevance and success. The program objectives include, but are not limited to, encouraging more women to start an online business, promoting women’s entrepreneurship, closing the digital gender gap, and improving the economic outcomes of women.

Importantly, the program focuses on equipping participants with skills in digital business, social media marketing, online business management, business pitching, bookkeeping and many more. For maximum impact the program will feature:

Opportunity to pitch for a grant

The bootcamp, webinar and summit will equip participants with practical and hands-on knowledge, skills and resources that they need to launch and grow their businesses online. The program will close with a pitch/grant competition where the 3 top ideas/pitches from the bootcamp participants will be awarded prizes that will aid their businesses.

Eligibility Criteria for Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program

Applicant must be a Nigerian Female Citizen
Unemployed and underemployed women
Applicant must be between ages 25-40 years
Minimum education levels of SSCE & OND
Applicant must have access to the internet
