The African Plant Nutrition Scholar Award Program 2023 has made available awards of USD $2,000 each to ten deserving African graduate students in sciences relevant to plant nutrition and the management of nutrients applied to crops.
The African Plant Nutrition Scholar Award will be made directly to the student. No specific duties will be required of the recipient. The Award will be granted independent of any assistantship, scholarship, or other award that the student currently holds. (more…)

KASA cycle 51 organized by AWDF is accepting applications from interested women-led organizations that have been registered for at least three years (before April 2020). AWDF defines a woman-led organization as an organization whose Board Chair and Chief Executive/Director are both women or non-binary, and where at least 70% of the board and staff members of the organization are women or non-binary. The Heritage Management Organization is launching a new call for concept notes for small grants ($5000-$50000) for organizations, groups, and individuals working with heritage in Africa.
The grants are part of our Heritage Management Project – Africa (HerMaP-Africa) which is funded by the Mellon Foundation’s Humanities in Place program. They will fund projects that focus on the protection of and/or promotion of local heritage for socio-economic development in the continent. (more…)
