Ignite Pro Community is a growing network of visionary founders, builders, and innovators across Africa, empowering purpose-driven startups with access to resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities. Through initiatives like Accelerate 2.0, Ignite Pro supports early-stage entrepreneurs solving real-world problems with scalable solutions.

We are now accepting applications for the Accelerate 2.0 Pitch Competition, holding live on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Celebr8 Centre, Port Harcourt. This is your opportunity to showcase your innovation before key investors, business leaders, and fellow entrepreneurs.

The Future Forward Pitch Competition is a central highlight of Accelerate 2.0. It aims to identify and support innovative, purpose-driven startups that have moved beyond the idea stage and developed a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with sustainable traction. They are looking for ventures that address real national challenges across sectors, from education to agriculture, hardware technology, healthcare, and beyond. Winning teams will gain access to tools, mentorship, and funding to grow their businesses and deepen their impact.Note: All types of solutions are welcome—whether tech-enabled or not.

Ignite Pro Community Pitch Competition Prizes

1st Prze: ₦5Million
2nd Prize: ₦3Million
3rd: ₦2Million

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

Be at least 18- 30 years old.
Be the founder or co-founder of a startup.
Have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with market traction (preferably revenue-generating).
Operate in sectors such as education, agriculture, health, software, or hardware technology.
Hold a personal or business Nigerian bank account.
Be able to submit documentation upon request.
Be available to pitch live at the event.

Application Requirement

What You Need to Submit:

A video pitch(maximum 4 minutes), uploaded to YouTube/Vimeo or shared via Google Drive.
A pitch deck (PDF, max. 10 slides) covering:
The problem you’re solving
Your proposed solution
Your team’s background
Traction so far
How your business aligns with the judging criteria.
