Applications are now open for the IBF Kickstart Entrepreneurship Programme, which supports youth-owned businesses by providing training, access to capital (grants), and mentorship. Kickstart is an initiative of the International Breweries Foundation with a focus on enterprise growth and development for young entrepreneurs.
Kickstart Entrepreneurship Programme Focus Areas
- Agriculture – (Maize, Rice, and Sorghum value chain and others)
- Retailing (Unique small-scale sales model for International Breweries Plc. Products)
- Others (Circular economy e.g. Recycling, Renewable Energy, etc.)

Eligibility Criteria for Kickstart Entrepreneurship Programme
- You can apply if you are a Nigerian between the ages of 18 – 35 years with a viable business or business idea.
- You do not require a registered business to complete the application. However, to access the grant if awarded to you, your business must be registered.
- All businesses or ideas must be at an early stage within the range of 0 to 3 years.
- You can apply under the others category. However, priority is placed on the business focus areas mentioned.
- You can still apply even if you are not in the maize, rice, or sorghum value chains. However, please note that priority will be given to businesses operating within these specific value chains.
