Applications are now open for the Ne互tUp: Lisbon, a roving Startup event centered on connecting technology leaders from around the world to solve global challenges. Ne互tUp (pronounced “Next Up”) is a unique non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Tech4Good between communities around the world.
Their mission aim at providing opportunities and pillars of support for women, minorities and underprivileged communities in the Deep Tech Space.
Each year, they land in a new city to connect leaders, founders, and technology enthusiasts with Asia and Singapore.
Each year, they renew the commitment to strengthening diversity, equity and inclusion in Deep Tech. Winners of the DeepTech Challenge are taken on a whirlwind delegation to the Singapore Innovation Ecosystem.
This year, they team up with the Singapore-Portugal Innovation Alliance (SPIA) to co-organise the program.
Ne互tUp Benefits
- Finalists will be invited to pitch live before an expert jury panel on 14th November 2024 at the United Lisbon International School in Lisbon.
- Winners will earn their place in a business delegation to Singapore’s Innovation Ecosystem in Q1 2025.

Who can participate?
- They welcome deep tech startups which are founded/co-founded by women, minorities or supporting underprivileged communities. Deep tech startups with women and minorities in leadership positions are also welcomed to apply. To fully embrace diversity and inclusion, they will also consider startups who do not fit the above requirements, but are able to show that they are seeking to change the status quo.
- In short, the DeepTech Challenge is open to any person actively supporting greater gender, social and ethnic diversity in science and tech.
