During the QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge program, participating teams engage in a web-based curriculum that focuses on business-to-government interactions. They also have the opportunity to directly interact with city leaders, gain access to our virtual LaunchPad 11 global community, and undergo an intensive Boot Camp led by international business, government, and smart city experts. QBE AcceliCITY organizes webinars and workshops specifically designed to assist companies in navigating the intricate challenges of working with governments, effectively conveying the value of their ventures, and establishing valuable connections within the extensive Smart and Resilient City ecosystem. The program concludes with pitch events where city pilot opportunities worth $150,000 are awarded.

At Leading Cities, they recognize that startup growth and impact require capital from both investors and clients. The AcceliCITY program connects winners with funding, a pilot project, and a pipeline of clients from cities worldwide.

Criteria
- AcceliCITY is looking for startups with an innovative solution catered towards selling to state and/or local governments.
- The web-based curriculum and boot camp are both designed for startups who are just beginning to fundraise, market, and/or sell; or those looking to improve in those areas. Like most programs of this nature, a participant will only get out of the program what they are willing to put into it.
- Applications are primarily evaluated based on the magnitude of the impact the solution will have on society,
- The level of significance in addressing the challenge,
- The degree of innovation demonstrated by the solution.
- Furthermore, supplementary assessments are conducted in relation to conventional startup evaluation aspects, including the overall business model and market potential.
