The Standard Chartered Women in Technology Incubator is Africa’s leading incubator program for female-led and founded businesses. The Women In Tech Incubator (WITI) program is an initiative of Standard Chartered Bank in partnership with Enteprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University in Nigeria and is currently in its 5th cycle.
This program aims to support female entrepreneurship, aligning with calls for more diversity in tech and for more opportunities for women to develop entrepreneurial and leadership expertise.
The purpose of the Women in Tech Incubator in Nigeria is to provide incubation support designed to target early-to-mid stage professionals from technology and business sectors – females who are most likely to have the requisite domain knowledge, experience, and perseverance to deliver results.
The outcome of the program is to support female-led entrepreneurial teams with training, mentorship, and an opportunity to qualify for grant support for 5 founders.
