Applications are open for Teach For Nigeria Fellowship 2025. Teach For Nigeria is focused on developing a movement of leaders across the nation who are committed to putting an end to educational inequity. Research reports show that millions of children in Nigeria lack access to an excellent education that will give them a successful future. Thus, Teach For Nigeria exists to change this narrative and break the cycle of ignorance and impoverishment that dwindles our national development and denies us the fulfillment of our vision for a better future.

The Teach For Nigeria Fellowship is a transformational leadership program that equips Fellows with transferable leadership skills to effect change beyond the classrooms in the communities we serve. After the Fellowship, these individuals (known as “alumni”) go on to become educators, public officials, policymakers, advocates, and social entrepreneurs, building on their classroom teaching experience to drive long-term systemic changes in the educational sector in Nigeria.

The Teach For Nigeria fellowship means more than just a program – it’s an invitation to become a positive force in the lives of Nigeria’s children. In this transformative journey, you’ll not only develop leadership skills but also uncover a deeper sense of purpose as you shape young minds and contribute to a brighter tomorrow.

The Teach for Nigeria Fellowship program is a two-year, full-time, paid commitment in which we place outstanding graduates and professionals to teach in Nigeria’s under-served schools in low-income communities. It’s a transformational leadership program that equips fellows with the transferable leadership skills they need to drive change beyond the classroom in the communities we serve.
