Applications are open for Babatunde-Anjous Business Idea Competition 2026. Lagos Business School (LBS), Pan-Atlantic University, has opened applications for the 2026 Business Idea Competition as part of the Babatunde Anjous Entrepreneurship Day. The competition is designed to attract innovative entrepreneurs with practical ideas capable of addressing one of Nigeria’s most pressing social challenges — the growing number of out-of-school children.
The initiative provides a platform for entrepreneurs, innovators, and problem-solvers to present scalable business solutions that can make measurable social impact while remaining commercially sustainable.
The Babatunde Anjous Entrepreneurship Day Business Idea Competition seeks creative and implementable business models that can help reduce the problem of out-of-school children in Nigeria.
Babatunde-Anjous Business Idea Competition Prize Awards
Winning participants will receive cash prizes as follows:
- First Prize: ₦1,000,000
- Second Prize: ₦600,000
- Third Prize: ₦400,000
In addition to prize money, finalists will gain exposure before business leaders, academics, and entrepreneurship stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the competition, applicants should:
- Be Nigerian entrepreneurs or aspiring founders
- Have a viable business idea or early-stage startup
- Be able to clearly articulate the impact and scalability of their idea
- Be available to pitch if shortlisted
The competition is open to individuals passionate about solving real societal problems through business innovation.
How To Apply for Babatunde-Anjous Business Idea Competition
Applicants must submit a PowerPoint presentation with no more than eight slides.
Each submission should clearly include:
- Proposed solution
- Feasibility studies
- Business model
- Implementation plan
- Profitability analysis
- Sustainability structure
Entries that fail to meet the submission format may not be considered.
