Applications are open for African Climate Creatives Fellowship (ACCF) 2026. The African Climate Creatives Fellowship (ACCF) is a Pan-African initiative designed to empower emerging climate advocates and creatives to lead digital-first campaigns that shift narratives and spark action.

Over the course of three months, fellows build critical skills in climate storytelling, advocacy, mobile-friendly media production, and impact-driven content design. Delivered virtually, the program connects young changemakers across the continent in a dynamic learning and co-creation space.

The African Climate Creatives Fellowship is a 3-month program organized by Aspire Climate Vanguard to train young African climate advocates, aged 18–35, in using digital tools, storytelling, and strategic communication to amplify advocacy and influence climate policy.

The African Climate Creatives Fellowship (ACCF) seeks to equip passionate environmental and climate advocates with digital campaigning skills and storytelling strategies to amplify their activism, engage wider audiences, and spark impactful action across African communities.

Why It Matters

  • Africa’s Climate Stories Are Missing
    • Most African climate stories are underreported and often told through the wrong narratives. This fellowship changes that by giving storytelling power to those most affected.
  • Train-the-Trainer Model for Bigger Impact
    • Fellows won’t just learn, they’ll teach. We’re building a movement of skilled climate advocates who will train others and lead local action.
  • Solutions, Not Just Problems
    • From indigenous knowledge to youth-led innovation, fellows will be empowered to spotlight African climate solutions and show the world we’re not just surviving, we’re leading.
