Applications are open for FAO Supporting AFR100 Program Direct Beneficiary Grants 2026. The FAO Supporting AFR100 Programme Direct Beneficiary Grants (DBG) is designed to support locally led forest and landscape restoration initiatives across selected African countries. The programme is implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) with support from the Government of Germany.

Through the Direct Beneficiary Grants scheme, eligible organizations can access funding ranging from USD 5,000 to USD 50,000 to implement practical restoration projects, strengthen restoration-based livelihoods, and support sustainable value chains.

Through the Direct Beneficiary Grants (DBG) scheme, the program provides financial support to registered local organizations implementing restoration activities and strengthening restoration-based livelihoods and value chains.

Supporting AFR100 Program Direct Beneficiary Grants Objective

The objective of the Direct Beneficiary Grants is to support local organizations that are actively restoring degraded land, strengthening community resilience, and improving livelihoods through sustainable land use and restoration activities.

Other local organizations involved in restoration and restoration-related value chains

Applicants must operate within designated programme landscapes in participating countries.
