Applications are open for NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative(RHEI) Phase 3. The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has opened applications for the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 3, a nationwide programme designed to equip unemployed Nigerians with technical, vocational, entrepreneurial, and digital skills that promote sustainable employment and self-reliance.

The initiative aims to train approximately 21,824 participants across Nigeria through fully funded skills development programmes, offering beneficiaries access to vocational training, financial stipends, certification, and start-up support in selected high-demand sectors.

The programme is available across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), reinforcing the government’s commitment to reducing unemployment and expanding economic opportunities through practical skills acquisition.

Programme Structure

National Directorate of Employment Programmes, Schemes & Skill Sets are:

1. Rural Employment Promotion (REP) Program , which focuses on creating sustainable livelihoods through agricultural and agribusiness training.

Available schemes under REP include:

Sustainable Agricultural Development Training Scheme: Vegetable Farming, Piggery, Irrigation Farming, and Poultry
Small Stock (Goat) Production Training Scheme: Ram, Sheep, and Goat
Microlivestock Agricultural Training Scheme: Rabbitry, Snailry, Grass Cutter Rearing, and Bee Keeping
Community-Based Agricultural Training Scheme: Maize Processing, Wheat Processing, Cowpea Processing, and Food Processing
Fish Production and Feed Formulation Training Scheme: Fish Production, and Fish Feed Formulation
Organic Agricultural Training Scheme: Sack Farming, Green House Farming, and Compost Making

Other Programmes include:

Small Scale Enterprises (SSE)
Special Public Work (SPW)
Vocational Skills Development (VSD)

Eligibility Criteria for NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative(RHEI)

This opportunity is open to Nigerians who are:

18 to 50 of age
Unemployed or underemployed
Interested in acquiring practical, market-relevant skills
Willing to participate fully in training programmes
Ready to build a sustainable source of income

Update your state of origin to your state of residence if both are not the same, as verified by NIMC
