Applications are open for SMEDAN Content Creation Competition. Are you a Nigerian content creator looking for an opportunity to showcase your creativity, grow your audience and earn cash? The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has opened applications for a content creation competition with ₦1.5 million in cash prizes.

The competition is part of the GROW Nigerian Conference 2026, scheduled to hold from 8 to 10 November at the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC), Victoria Island, Lagos.

About SMEDAN Content Creation Competition

The competition is organised under SMEDAN’s GROW Millionaires initiative as part of the GROW Nigerian Conference 2026. It is designed to give emerging content creators an opportunity to showcase their skills, cover a major business event and compete for cash prizes.

Selected creators will attend the three-day conference, produce content about the activities and publish their work on their social media platforms using the official hashtag #GROWNigerian.

The competition will reward creators based on the total engagement generated by their published content across their platforms during the event.

STEP 1

- Fill in the short form below. It signs you up for the webinar and gives you a conference ticket.
STEP 2
- Webinar, Saturday 7 November
- Join Nelly Agbogu online for the Content Creation Webinar. We’ll email you the joining link.
STEP 3
- Make content, 8 to 10 November
- Come to the conference and cover it on your platforms, with #GROWNigerian on everything you publish. Only content carrying it counts.
STEP 4
- Most engaging wins
- The highest total engagement across all your platforms wins ₦1 million. Two runners-up win ₦250,000 each.

Eligibility Criteria

Content creators and aspiring creators, on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X or anywhere else you post.
Your content is made at the conference, so you’ll need to be there in Lagos.
